Size .013 is the thinnest of the 49 strand Beadalon stringing wires. There are 49 strands of stainless steel banded together and covered with nylon, giving it exceptional strength and unusual flexibility. Best used to achieve maximum flexibility with smaller holed beads, .013 is generally used for pearls and small gemstone beads. Use crimp beads to attach a clasp and crimp covers to hide the crimp. 49 strand Beadalon is the choice for anyone desiring a long lasting stringing material which drapes like string but is much stronger. Size .013 has a break strength of 13lbs.
